Why mid-market builders are choosing subscription ERPs

Sell-once licenses locked teams into upgrade cycles. Subscription suites let contractors scale modules with the jobs they win.

Mid-market contractors used to choose between lightweight job apps and heavyweight ERPs that needed a six-month implementation. Subscription suites changed the trade-off: start with estimation and inventory, add finance and fleet when the pipeline justifies it.

The commercial model matters. Predictable monthly pricing, public list rates, and trial periods let proprietors evaluate software the way they evaluate a new saw — by running real jobs, not by sitting through a week of slides.

Enterprises still care about audit trails and SSO. The difference is they no longer have to buy every module on day one to get those controls.

The Aerolith Core ships subscription-only for now. Contact sales when you need multi-entity packaging; start a trial when you want to see the floor impact first.
